Headquartered in Waterloo Region’s Catalyst137 building, a purpose-built makerspace and IoT hub, Miovision is part of one of Canada’s hotbed technology centers, which is home to two of Canada’s top universities – University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University – and a vibrant technology community that includes such luminaries as Google, BlackBerry, Sandvine Inc., Desire2Learn, and Open Text Corporation.
Miovision’s European office is located in Cologne, Germany, which is one of Europe’s economically strongest cities – 40% of Europe’s GDP is generated within 500 kilometres. Due to its beneficial position, Cologne has an excellent connection to international transport networks. With over 40,000 students, Cologne is also home to the biggest university in Germany – where future key technologies are in focus.
